In October last year, First Minister Rhodri Morgan, Deputy First Minister Ieuan Wyn Jones and Secretary of State for Wales Paul Murphy convened the first of what has become a series of well-publicised economic summits on the current financial crisis. ACCA Wales was invited early on to play a part in this process.
