Former college Director of e-learning, Richard Everett discusses the design of intelligent buildings using Oaklands College in Hertfordshire as an example of a new fully-integrated campus planned for occupation in 2011. Richard worked on the design team before becoming a freelance e-learning and new build consultant. He describes the vision for the building and how it will transform the learner experience.
