Developing open content – the POCKET perspective

The Project
on Open Content for Knowledge Exposition and Teaching (POCKET) is
an 18-month project due to end in March 2009, funded by the JISC Repositories and Preservation Programme. This project aims to investigate the potential of migrating open content approaches in a range of disciplines across a number of different higher education institutions (HEIs). This article describes the project in more detail, looking at the project’s aims, the content development process and the future plans.
