Surveys

Many thanks to those members who took time to complete the survey last month.

It helps us greatly to receive feedback and of course we all knew who would win hands down in the most popular Event Manager! More than anything it was great to see Steve's face when the votes just kept coming in !

Well done to Tim who having run the Sussex Tour last summer still beat Steve, I think everyone enjoyed that vote.

We have one more survey to offer so please take time to complete this if you can.

Winter Final
Forest of Arden Friday 18th April 2008

As the winter final gathers pace and the top 6 players aiming to get to the final, I would like to reiterate that the final is taking place at Forest of Arden, Aylesford Course on Friday 18th April.
For some this may be a school date, sorry but due to Easter breaks falling anywhere and everywhere it was unavoidable.

Accomodation is in short supply at The Forest of Arden due to prior bookings, they have a number of reserve rooms, so those of you planning ahead for acommdoation please be aware.

Summer Tour

I have posted a link to our own website so any changes will be instant and you can download it anytime. If you click below you can read just how the tour will work. No questions until you have read it 5 times ! Ha .

Following the great success that the British Junior Tour had at the NEC Golf Show in November 2007, we have now been invited to bring more children along to the London Golf Show.............

Subseventy Clothing
http://www.subseventy.co.uk/default.asp

Following on from The London Golf show....and that poster which will now be printed a million times, we hold our hands up, because we missed out on instant recognition - no uniform !
Learning all the time, how great would that poster be if every child was wearing official tour clothing.

Whilst our t-shirts are great, they did not promote The British Junior Golf Tour brightly enough for instant recognition.

So we are in talks with Subseventy to produce a line of clothing specfically for our Juniors, corportating the BJGT Logo and in colours Black, Orange and White.

We aim to reveal the clothing line along with SubSeventy at The London Golf Show so those players who will represent the BJGT at The London Golf Show will need to practise their catwalks as you will be are first models to wear the new lines.

Adams Cup
http://www.juniorgolftour.co.uk/competitions.asp?i...

The date and teams are confirmed !

The inaugural Adams cup will be played on Easter Sunday 23rd March.

We welcome all supporters to Whittlebury Park to come along and support both teams.

Steve will be taking the captains around the course on 12th April, for a practise and stategy work out, where no doubt both will be lenient on the boss as he picks up his clubs for the first time in 12 months.

This will hopefully become an annual event each Easter !

We are however still looking for a sponsor for his event. A small sum would cover all costs, green fees, souveniers and trophies for the event. If you know of a local golf angel who might be interested in sponsorship please forward them our details.

Golf Generation Competition
Foursomes - ie Parent & Child (Stableford)

Twice now we have attempted to put on our Generation Golf Competition, but time has always beaten us.

With this years Grand Final earlier in August, we have time in September to line up a competition for you and your family to have a fun day out.

The format is still being discussed, but you will play alongside any older friend or family member, dad, grandad, mum etc

It will be a great day out but we need to judge interest so please take time to complete the survey and give us feedback.

Thanks
