It’s April and I suspect that all of us are pleased to have passed that magic moment when the clocks went forward, gardens now burst into flower and spring finally bullies its way past of winter. I know I feel like that despite the fact that I am to gardening what Genghis Khan was to Neighbourhood Watch.
Optimism and renewal are the two words that spring (pardon the pun) to mind whenever it's
this time of year but this year there’s a third word that is set to play a part – excitement. 2008 is set to be an exciting year for Busch (UK) Limited with new products and systems on the horizon.
We have already got off to a great start with the launch of our new R 5 0160 E vacuum pump – the first pump in the world that meets the food industry’s stringent food hygiene standards and it has already been awarded the international iFdesign Award 2008.
We are thrilled about the new pump and we are sure that it will prove to be the star of the show when it is unveiled at the Foodex-Meatex event in Birmingham at the NEC. Please take a look at the full story about the new R 5 0160 E inside and, better still, we would be delighted to see you at our stand at the show.
Of course even a year as promising as this one can’t be all plain sailing and 2008 is no exception. The coming year promises to herald some of the most challenging environmental legislation this country has ever seen as government looks to tackle the challenges thrown up by global warming and climate change.
At Busch (UK) Limited we recognise that our customers are already in the frontline of the battle to reduce harmful emissions and improve energy efficiency but we are also aware of the vital role we can play in working with our customers to deal with those new challenges.
We enjoy a challenge here at Busch (UK) Limited because it drives innovation and technology. After all, what is a challenge if it isn’t an opportunity in disguise?
