Dear Friends, Colleagues, Partners and Stakeholders,

Having spent two and a half years as Director of Glasgow: Edinburgh Collaboration, this week I will be moving on to pastures new as my colleague Sara Thiam takes over the reins in leading the project.

I have thoroughly enjoyed working with all of you, and I am delighted with the progress that has been made between the cities during my time as Director.

In the meantime, I would like to take this opportunity to wish the Collaboration every success for the future: I am confident that the need for Scotland's two principal cities to work together is now recognised as a key driver for local and national economic growth, and hope that the partnership between Glasgow and Edinburgh continues to go from strength to strength.
