Not So Tasty Cadbury Adams
Tasters sue Cadbury Adams

Lawsuits have been filed against Cadbury Adams, the US subsidiary of Cadbury, by three female taste-testers.

They allege that an experimental sweetener has injured them. According to UPI, Maureen Zuccarini, Donna Magliaro and Stefanie Bonfiglio are the three women who sued Cadbury Adams.

These women were sampling flavours and sweeteners that are used in various products of the company. They claim that in this process they have suffered oral lesions and chemical burns.

They are now finding it difficult to taste and normally eat certain foods. These women further allege that the company is causing hindrance to their medical treatment by not revealing the ingredients to a doctor, stated The Associated Press.

Monetary damages are also being demanded by these women for medical expenses and suffering, the news agency added. The lawsuits have also been filed against Spherion Atlantic Enterprises, a staffing company that hired these women, said UPI.
