Big & Fuse Win Awards At Gramia Awards
Gramia is a national scheme that recognises exceptional performance in the highly competitive FMCG market

Fuse Digital won in online digital category for Lucozade

Two Midlands marketing agencies have picked up high-profile awards at Gramia 2008, The Grocery Advertising & Marketing Awards.

Big Communications has won in the outdoor category for the Mr. Porky scratchings brand, while sister digital marketing agency Fuse Digital has won in the online category for Lucozade.

Gramia is a national scheme that recognises exceptional performance in the highly competitive FMCG market, rewarding creative excellence and achievement. Work is judged not only on the strength of the creative work, but also the campaigns objectives and results.

Big's striking pink poster campaign for Mr. Porky highlights the brand's fun, cheeky personality. It's one of four winners in the category, with the other winners including such well-known names as Heinz and KFC.

Dylan Bogg, Big Communication's executive creative director, said: "Gramias are tough awards to win and this is another example of the high standard of creative work the agency consistently produces."

Fuse Digital's award-winning work saw them help launch Lucozade's new drink, Lucozade Alert. The drink helps consumers maintain focus, so the innovative website saw people compete to see who was the "most alert", with a £100,000 prize fund on offer.

Simon Davies, creative director at Fuse commented: "We're delighted to have received an award that recognises the quality of work done by the whole agency. It's especially pleasing to have won alongside other great brands such as Lynx, McCain and Walkers."

Both pieces of award-winning work now go forward to compete for the Diamond Gramia Award in their respective categories, the results of which will be revealed in a ceremony held in London on October 2nd.
