VCCP's Steve Vranakis, Creative Director and Partner, and Amelia Torode, Head of Digital Strategy, will talk on developing the creative product of the future at the next 44 Club event. They will advise agencies to look to other industries to evolve their creative product or risk it dying out.
It is a disconcerting time to be in advertising, with increasing media fragmentation and the fact that consumers are being bombarded by advertising messages, this is leading to unprecedented levels of marketing cynicism and brand rejection. Agencies are also under mounting pressure to present clients with new and creative ways of building connections between brands and people, be it a TV ad, an event, or a widget.
So what are agencies going to do about this?
This talk will look outside the agency world to film studios, publishing companies and the recording industry to present thoughts and ideas which will be crucial to developing the creative product of the future.
It is taking place at 6pm for a 6.30pm start on Monday 17th September at the London College of Fashion, 20 John Prince's Street, W1G 0BJ (Oxford Circus tube). For tickets at £15 + VAT per person (members) and £30 + VAT per person (non IPA members, payable in advance) please email events@ipa.co.uk, giving names, job titles, contact details of all attendees and purchase order number if required.
Please note that tickets cancelled 48 hours before the event will be charged at full event fee.
