Building upon our distinctive strengths as a university intimately connected with the City and London's wold-famous cultural institutions, King's will be offering the first King's Summer School in 2009 with courses in management, creative industries, English and more.
The Summer School will offer a wide choice of university-level courses including modules in cultural management, film, history, music, and politics. We will also be offering an exciting English module run jointly with Shakespeare’s Globe.
The courses will run in two three week sessions, with the first session running 6-24 July and the second session from 27 July – 14 August. Courses will all be led by faculty and small group teaching will form a core part of the Summer School.
Exciting opportunities will be built into each module with the chance of first hand experience of London’s museums, galleries and other cultural institutions with which King’s has built up outstanding relationships.
Accommodation will be in one of the College’s best halls of residence in single, en suite rooms and we will also be offering a social programme for students to get the most out of their time in London.
Detailed information on course options, curriculum and tuition fees will be available shortly but in the first instance please contact summerschool@kcl.ac.uk for further information.
