Welcome to the Summer edition of Opportunity. Despite the often gloomy reports we hear in the media about the current economic climate, Matchtech continues to have a large portfolio of vacancies available to candidates. Our sector reports, which you can read through the left-hand navigation, are generally reflecting encouraging signs. As a company we continue to have high levels of activity and we are still recruiting additional consultants to cope with the demand.
We have also been particularly busy with compliance and quality work related to our fundamental desire to provide excellent customer service.
I am pleased to report that Matchtech Group Plc has just become the first Recruitment Company in the UK to have obtained certification to the new British Standard BS25999 for Business Continuity. This standard has been developed to help companies minimise the risk of potential disruptions and to help ensure continued business operations. We are very proud to have been awarded this certification, following a tremendous amount of hard work by many of our key personnel.
In addition to this award, we have also recently again passed independent audits to gain re-certification to ISO 9001:2000 (Quality), ISO 14001:2004 (Environmental) and ISO 18001:2007 (Health & Safety). We can now proudly say that we are the only Recruitment Company in the UK to have obtained all 4 qualifications, which underpins our dedication to quality in our organisation.
