Winners of MCA Awards 2005
Transport projects win 6 out of 10 awards at the 2005 MCA Awards for Best Management Practice, with the Platinum going to Boxwood for its work on London Underground.
The winners were announced by the Rt Hon William Hague at the MCA Awards dinner on 4 April at the London Hilton on Park Lane run in association with Management Today. Other winners on the night included Rossmore Group, which received the award for Best Small Consulting Firm for their work with Network Rail.

Financial services expert elected President of MCA
David Bailey, Joint Managing Director of Impact Plus, a leading independent management consultancy in the financial services and public sectors, has been elected President of the MCA. Bailey also sits on an Institute of Directors panel at the Bank of England, providing input on management consultancy industry trends.

"Speed Networking" event - places are limited
Don't miss the Young MCA launch event "Speed Networking" on 5 May at the BT Tower, from 6.30pm. The Young MCA is for those in the first years of their consulting careers at MCA member firms (there is no age limit!). Please pass this on to colleagues in MCA firms who may be interested in attending. There is no charge for MCA members but places are limited.
International guest speaker Susan Croft will lead a seminar on 'How to work a room' followed by drinks and networking to put your skills into practice.

Over three thousand pounds raised at MCA Awards dinner
Guests at the MCA Awards gala dinner on Monday 4 April at the London Hilton on Park Lane raised £3,228 for the Depaul Trust. The Depaul Trust offers disadvantaged young people opportunities to fulfil their potential and move towards an independent and positive future. To find out more about the work of Depual Trust click here.
The money raised will pay for a six week employment skills training course for 15 disadvantaged young men and women.
Congratulations to Ray Hart of Catalise who won the prize draw on the night.
