LogicaCMG Consulting Director elected President of the MCA

Alan Russell, Director of LogicaCMG’s consulting unit has been elected President of the Management Consultancies Association (MCA), the trade association for UK-based consulting firms. Alan takes over this annual position from David Bailey, Joint Managing Director of Impact Plus.

MCA in the news

In the last month, the MCA has had a high level of national exposure in The Times Public Agenda and Career Supplements.

 

Public Agenda featured a double page spread on public sector consulting success stories on 21 March 2006. The spread included six separate features profiling successful public sector projects and a 500 word column from Fiona Czerniawska, Director of the MCA's Think Tank. The entire spread included coverage for 10 separate MCA members and 31 MCA and member brand mentions.

Consultancy sector revenues close in on £2billion landmark

MCA Quarter 4 2005 figures show that consulting industry revenues have gone from just over £1billion to nearly £2billion in just five years…

 

Statistics released by the MCA show an underlying growth of 8.2 per cent  in Quarter 4 2005 over the same quarter in the previous year, with quarterly revenues nearly hitting the £2billion landmark (£1,971million) for the first time.
