For the first time since Bob Payton realised his dream of turning Stapleford Park into one of the finest Country House Hotels in the UK 20 years ago, we have closed our doors to our guests in order to make some great improvements to the House.

The House closed as the last guests departed on the morning of 3^rd February and will reopen with much excitement and anticipation on Thursday 6^th March.

The whole project started with the need to create a new kitchen for Wayne Vickerage, Executive Chef - pictured above with Hotel Manager Philip Newman-Hall during demolition.

In order to celebrate the reopening of Stapleford Park after a £1.7 million investment in the building, we are offering a March and April 24hr delegate experience to subscribers of this newsletter.

The photograph is of the Harborough Room as it was when we closed. New silk walls will make this room the room to entertain in!!

After transferring to become Stapleford Park’s Sales Manager for the South & London Region, Elena Hernandez has decided to make a permanent move to live in London and she has therefore left us to join The Dorchester Hotel.

Amanda Maskell (photographed), who rejoined us at Stapleford Park last year will now take over the responsibility of Sales Manager for Stapleford Park and will be assisted by Niels Oostenrijk and Beckie Bradbury.
