Three participants discuss the experience...

imagine.art.after is the first international project to be produced by Index Arts - an innovative online project that will open up new opportunities to support freedom of expression in the visual arts.

They recently ran a dialogue hosted on the internet by Guardian Unlimited, connecting the seven artists who are refugees based in London with an artist from their country of origin. They exchanged views and engaged in dialogue, illustrated by images and video over a period of six weeks.

The dialogue - shared with some of Guardian Unlimited's seven million online readers - explored the proximity of art and life against the backdrop of contemporary world politics.

Three of the participants will discuss their experiences in front of an audience and panel at the end of March.

7.30 pm. Wednesday, 29 March
At Wanstead Library, Spratt Hall Road, London E11 2QR
