Whitepaper : Tax Compliant E-Invoice Lifecycle Management
Most countries in which you do business apply Value Added Tax (VAT) or Goods and Services Tax (GST) at each step of the economic chain. However, each country maintains its own regulatory requirements for electronic invoices which significantly increase the cost, risks and complexity of invoice and tax compliance for companies who buy and sell in multiple countries.
Non-compliance to country specific electronic invoicing regulations increases your risk associated with a tax audit, forfeiture of the buyer’s right to reclaim taxes, and in some cases, fines and criminal investigations.
Sterling Commerce launches Sterling e-Invoice Gateway Solution at Gartner SOA & Application Development and Integration Summit 2008
Sterling e-Invoice Gateway Solution helps businesses to adapt to the complex, ever-changing business and technical regulations associated with international electronic invoicing. It automates business processes and tax compliance as part of a multi-enterprise service-oriented architecture implementation that uses global integration standards to support compliance in a single solution.
